FIND YOUR JOY YOGA


ROOM TO BREATHE

I have been practicing yoga for over 25 years and teaching for 22 of those years. My practice has changed over the years. My body has changed, my mind has too. I am no longer interested in "rockstar" poses or contorting my body in such a way that leaves me hurting or worse, injured. I'm interested in a practice now that makes me feel good, where I can find joy in the practice of asana, meditation and my life on and off the mat. I'm interested in creating space in my body, quieting my mind, and letting my ego go on a nice long vacation without me.

Yoga isn't about what pose your body can or can not do. Yoga is about embracing the moment, listening to and honoring the body, clearing the mind and uplifting the spirit.  It is about self-awareness and connecting to your higher self. 

Find Your Joy Yoga is a gentle, flow based, heart centered practice. In this practice we aim to find space in our bodies, calm the mind and connect with our spirit. Our body changes as we get older, our practice may change too. FYJY honors our journey every step of the way.

Find Your Joy Yoga is about coming to the mat as you are right now, in this moment, and finding peace, acceptance and joy there.
